Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at ed@reelsaltypinepoint.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

All trips are subject to weather conditions and some days are better than others. Basic rainy days I do fish, however if I deem the conditions to be unsafe, I will shorten (prorate), cancel or reschedule the trip at my discretion.

If the weather calls for rain, please bring something appropriate to keep you dry.

 **** if applicable****

Anyone children 10 and under MUST wear a life jacket for the  of the trip (if this applies to you please provide approximate weight of anyone under 10 so it can be assured I have appropriate sized life jackets for them).

  • A list of stuff to think about bringing for your upcoming charter would include sunglasses, sunscreen, maybe a sweatshirt for chilly mornings, afternoons, or evening. Beverages(please no glass), (alcohol is allowed for drinking aged passengers no matter the time of day) and snacks,
  • If anyone needs special medication for anything, please remember to have it with you and be sure to tell me of any medical conditions anyone in your party may have. This is mandatory.
  • If there is anyone that thinks they may get seasick, it is highly recommended they take Dramamine before getting on board. It is not effective if taken after someone starts feeling seasick. If you have any questions before departure, please feel free to ask.

As for covid 19, please excuse yourself from the trip if are not feeling well or showing any symptoms of illness (fever, chills, dry cough, body aches, loss of smell or taste, etc.).

The departure address is 96 King street, Scarborough, Maine 04074. There is a pedestrian walkway on the left side of the Stern restaurant that will lead you to the commercial dock. See you soon!
